Hello,

a bit about me:

My name is Rawan Baghlaf, currently a 2nd year Interior design student at Regents University and aiming to work in the field of residential furniture and design. I have done a year of foundation in Art & Design at Regents university and working on different live projects in Regents I have a very clear direction of the kind of designer I would like to become.

My interests are basically looking at different patterns, interactive traditional designs and materiality in interior architecture and simple basic things interest me a lot. Designs that are simple yet complicated and cannot be found easily. I consider patterns to be one of the most important elements we apply to residential designs as it can alter emotion, create ambiance for the entire room or house.

My work has never been about doing something standard or expected. I believe that, as designers, we have the power to create an exciting world. Through paying close attention to the traditional patterns I have found it fascinating to break the designs into modern, contemporary down into separate designs. People are the major factor of any designs and when you merge this knowledge with inter-activation, the result is exciting.
